Dr. Rachel Singer (she/her), Clinical Director, is a licensed psychologist who specializes in providing evidence-based clinical interventions for children, adolescents, adults, and families. She strives to connect every potential client with interventions that are both customized to meet their needs and based on effective research. Dr. Singer believes every individual is their own best expert about their needs and preferences, and strives to build relationships that are warm, supportive, and empathic. “We all have the capacity to live a life that is meaningful and positive,” says Dr. Singer. “Part of the challenge is identifying our goals and developing tools to navigate any obstacle that comes our way.”
Dr. Singer particularly specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure Therapy with Response Prevention, Functional Family Therapy and SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) interventions. She seeks to build on a foundation of multiculturally appropriate interventions and further empower her clients to make long-lasting changes in their own lives. With interventions, Dr. Singer likes to let “fun override the fear” to enable her clients to face difficult situations with confidence. She engages all clients, particularly her younger clients, using interactive and creative interventions to help sustain their motivation and enthusiasm for therapy.

Personal Life
Dr. Singer is originally from Boston and loves to talk about clam chowdah. She spends as much time outside as possible planting tomatoes in her garden, going for hikes, and building snow forts with her family. When inside, Dr. Singer plays guitar, sings, crochets, reads everything in sight (especially sci-fi) and cooks (preferably with a different dish on each burner on the stove).
