Elise uses a combination of strategies and approaches to meet the clients where they are, and help to move them to a place of increased stability and confidence. She has experiences utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Interpersonal and Skill Building. She enjoys also working with clients through more creative approaches such as: Expressive Therapies, Bibliotherapy and Play Therapy approaches. In couples and family work she focuses heavily on both systems approaches and improving communication strategies. She believes that building a trusting reliable relationship in therapy is paramount and the basis for all the work and growth that follows.
Elise works with clients to manage depression, poor self esteem, mood disorders, anxiety, family conflict, couples discord, communication difficulties, school or work stress, and life transitions.
